Q1. My roof leaks. Do I have to
replace all of it?
Not necessarily. Leaking can result
because a small portion of the roof
has been damaged or some flashings
have become loose.

indications that my roof has problems?
Roof problems are frequently only
discovered after leaking or other
serious damage occurs. Periodic
inspections can uncover loose tiles
and deteriorating flashings before
heavy damage sets in. Indoor signs
of a damaged roof can include areas
of discoloured plasterboard or cracked
paint where damp has permeated.
Q3. If I decide
to re-roof what are my options?
Several material types are available,
including natural slate, handmade
clay, machine-made clay and concrete.
Q4. How long can
I expect my roof to last?
Dependant on the material used,
some roofs can last up to 100 years.
Q6. How much does
it cost?
This depends on the size and type
of roof. Using larger interlocking
tiles can reduce the cost of a re-roof.
